Adding to my last point, on AppleInsider.
Google on Wednesday said it has seen 50 times more search requests coming from Apple iPhones than any other mobile handset — a revelation so astonishing that the company originally suspected it had made an error culling its own data.Â

So, what it really tells is
* there are only a handful of users who use mobile search
* they are mainly IT-savvy americans
* the rest of the world is either not capable of or doesn’t give a damn about mobile search
* it’s a whole new growth opportunity for GOOG
