Mac OSX Leopard is slowly installing on my MacBook as we speak.
You only get say 10 new OS days in you career, so it’s kinda exciting.
I made the mistake of not skipping the DVD check. That’s 40 minutes of my life I’ll never get back.
It now says 4 hours to go.
Stay tuned.

Once you are past the disk check it takes ~50 minutes (or at least it did for me)
I hear rumors that time machine wont work with a drive attached to an airport extreme? Im still waiting, my copy is en-route to dunedin, since thats close to wellington…
He doesn’t have a Pro like us JB so his took a little longer ;-)
Was a pretty seamless upgrade - cool things so far (other than the BSOD images) are Spaces (very UNIX), the new dock (but the Fan view is weird), screen sharing, CoverView, Front Row (just like AppleTV) - I’m sure there are a bunch of other things I can’t remember but it’s seems like a worthwhile upgrade so far.
The only thing I don’t like is the huge shadow behind the active window (most obvious when the background window is white). Haven’t tried to Google a fix but it’s a bit off-putting.
Yep - seems all good :) You forgot the other main “feature” - BootCamp :)
