    Rod, I see that http://www.parallelimported.co.nz/ in Auckland has the LG Prada designed phone which looks exactly like the iPhone. Plus it would work here whereas last time I checked the iPhone will not.

    Or if you really want a practical toy they have the Nokia N95 for $1228 which while it may not look like the iPhone probably is twice as good in practice.

    The iPhone will work in NZ, at GPRS speeds (SLOW), but it’ll be locked to AT&T for ages - dont expect it to work with an NZ SIM for a while :(
