I retired from personal blogging in July 2008.
But you can find me over at http://blog.xero.com.
Heading to Otago Wednesday for a session with an MBA class in the middle of the day. I’ve got a few spare hours to kill. Any tech business people down there that want to catch up for coffee?
Bit of travel this week. NZVCA conference on Thursday and PwC HiTech Awards on Saturday night. That should be fun event and good industry networking opportunity.

Hey Rod, looking forward to seeing you tomorrow here in sunny Dunedin! Matt from Idealog dropped me a line to let me know you were heading this way - I’m with a a web development shop called eMedia, and am also one of the MBAs at international business week - our whole day’s going to be taken up though, but it’d be great to catch up over a coffee if you have some time :)
Cheers,
~j
It has been a while since I left Dunedin but I’d wander along to the Centre for Innovation which is on the Uni campus, not too far away from the Commerce Building, and have a wee look around. I’m sure they’d gratefully receive you. 18 months ago there we’re a couple of really interesting ideas being worked on there.

There’s also UpStart which is the council-run incubator, who also run DFI (Dunedin Fashion Incubator). Norman Evans was one of the smartest and clearest people I met in my time down there. (Ignoring he [quite rightly and justifiably] ripped my idea to pieces) ;)
