Do we have any Apple OSX Development people in New Zealand? Have a product idea I want to bounce off someone.

Renaissance, the Apple distributor, has some development staff here, and also good contacts with Apple in Sydney and Palo Alto. The biggest local OS X development shop I know of is Subrosasoft (subrosasoft.com), which used to be based in Rotorua and California — but may be just in California now.

Thank you. What I’m looking at is a hardcore, ‘fat client’, install. Talking to WebServices. Same sort of technology as an RSS Reader (but not an RSS Reader). Super fast, local storage, stunning UI (and complex UI) talking to network services. This would a big project (maybe a year) for a small team.

Sounds interesting. The architecture is not unlike what we are developing internally (apart from the stunning/complex UI :)
