FWIW,my top 3 Wellington Cafe’s are

  1. Eva Dixon’s at the Zoo.  Best coffee in Wellington.  Meerkats to keep the little guy amused.
  2. Chocolate Frog at Palmers in Miramax. Most friendly staff.
  3. L’affare, College Street. Best biz breakie.

    I have been eating a mint since the day the store opened. I have to say that they have the best coffee anywhere in Wellington. The food is excellent, it is great to see that there are still places around that know how to present a meal. The thing that I was impressed the most with is the fact that Mint has a certificate on their wall from Hospitality NZ saying that they are an approved training centre for the apprenticeship programme. It is great to see a local cafe supporting the youth of NZ.

    We love the menu it is unique in the fact that they have also incorporated the national language of New Zealand.
