VS 2005 Web Project System: What is it and why did we do it?
New features of note …
- Doesn’t require FPServer extensions
- Built in Dev Server
- Totally locked down projects (just ship a dll, no .html and .aspx pages)
- Next version of SharePoint uses ASP.Net 2.0
There’s a call do do another beta cycle of VS2005 but official word is till November. Makes the 2005 reference seem silly.
